Last night Andy and I decided to tackle the grapes, after the Bailey Fresh Foods potluck and the kids were in bed and before Uncle Jalal got here. Well we arrived in Georgia on Tuesday. We were late 5 hours but got here before the snow started, thank goodness. Didn't really feel like spending the night in Buffalo. What a great day. I love Valentine's Day. I love the colours and the cards and the treats and the special heart clothes and the excitement and the creative avenue it provides. My kids have been making cards for a couple of weeks. I buy a whole whack of stuff - ribbons, foam, felt, stickers, paper and let them go crazy. I love watching the intensity that the kids have when they are creating.

For the past two days I have had sick girls. Avery started yesterday by having a wicked cold. It kept her home from school. Then last night Mer got a bout of the stomach flu. We had an all nighter! Well, after my little rant about Old Navy I called their customer service line to find out how to resolve the situation. The man on the phone was helpful and told me what I should do. I went back to the same store today - unfortunatley Ms. Sharon wasn't there but a delightful woman by the name of Lori solved my problem and made me happy.
